All of Nova Scotia's mountain ranges are located in the Appalachian Mountains. The Appalachian Mountain range is 1500 miles long the range stretches from Alabama through all of Canada's Provinces. Nova Scotia has several large and sandy beaches. Nova Scotia consists of hundreds of bays, inlets, salt water marshes, and lakes. Bay of Fundy is located on the west central coastline and is world-famous for its high tidal range. Its vertical tidal range in the highest in the world. Also, 110 billion tons of water flow in and out of Bay of Fundy in just a 12 hour period. Nova Scotia's highest point is on White Hill its height is 1,745 feet high. The largest lake in Nova Scotia is Lake Rossignol. Some of the rivers that flow through Nova Scotia are Avon, Clyde, Jourdan Mersey, and Roseway.
